Nelly Korda Addresses Denial of Lydia Ko’s LPGA Hall of Fame Bid

In a recent interview, Nelly Korda discussed the circumstances surrounding her victory over Lydia Ko at the Drive On Championship in January 2024, which delayed Ko’s induction into the LPGA Tour Hall of Fame. Korda emphasized that despite the competitive nature of the game, there is “no bad blood” between her and Ko. She stated, “She’s always someone that I enjoy talking to and playing with. There is no bad blood, I hope.”

During the playoff at the Drive On Championship, Korda secured her ninth LPGA victory, while Ko missed a short-range par putt. This outcome postponed Ko’s Hall of Fame induction, as she needed a victory to qualify.
