Nelly Korda Takes a Playful Jab at Keegan Bradley on the Course—Fans Debate the Hidden Meaning Behind Her Trolling
Nelly Korda pokes fun at Keegan Bradley in a hilarious on-course moment, sparking a heated debate among golf fans. Was it all in good fun, or was there a deeper meaning?
Nelly Korda Playfully Roasts Keegan Bradley During TGL Match
Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TGL indoor simulator league has been making waves, bringing intense competition and unforgettable moments to the early golf season. While the league has already delivered plenty of drama, it has also provided some lighthearted entertainment—thanks in part to Nelly Korda’s unexpected jab at Keegan Bradley.
During Monday’s TGL matchup between The Bay Golf Club and Boston Common Golf, Korda took to Instagram to poke fun at Bradley’s outfit and mustache, playfully comparing him to Luigi from the Mario Bros. franchise.
Korda posted a photo of Bradley dressed in Boston Common’s signature green colors, captioning it simply:
“Luigi!”

The Hidden Meaning Behind ‘Luigi’—Is There More to Korda’s Joke?
While the reference to the beloved video game character seemed innocent enough, some fans quickly pointed out that “Luigi” has taken on a new meaning in recent months—referring to “sexy hitman” Luigi Mangione, a viral internet sensation.
Bradley, however, seemed unbothered by the joke and channeled Luigi’s precision during the match. On the 10th hole, he delivered an incredible chip-in eagle, tying the match at 3-3.
Despite Bradley’s clutch shot, his Boston Common Golf team ultimately lost 5-4 to The Bay, extending their winless streak to 0-2-1 this season. Meanwhile, The Bay remains dominant, securing its third straight victory.
Bradley’s Grueling Schedule and Korda’s Strong Start to the Season
Monday’s triple-header was a quick turnaround for Bradley and several other TGL players, who had just finished competing at the Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. Many had to take a cross-country flight to Palm Beach Gardens in time for the TGL match.
Bradley made the cut at the Genesis Invitational, finishing T-34 at even par for the week.
As for Korda, she has only played in two LPGA events so far this year, but she has already secured two top-10 finishes. The defending Chevron Championship winner is looking to carry that momentum into the season’s first major in late April.
Coming off a historic 2024 season—in which she claimed seven victories, including five in a row—Korda remains a dominant force in the sport.
