This week, Emmerdale has been thrown into chaos as a tragic accident leaves beloved characters fighting for their lives.
A horrific limousine crash put 17 residents in peril in a shocking turn of events. Mandy Dingle—who switched places with Liam—joined the group heading into the woods with Caleb at the wheel, emotions running high.
Caleb confronted Cain about his affair with Ruby, causing tension among the Dingles. After the first limo crashed, Cain was confronted by his family about the Dingle code, while Matty clashed with him over Moira.
Meanwhile, another limo carrying several women and Dr. Liam Cavanagh teetered over a frozen lake. Charity, driving at the time, swerved to avoid Noah, sending the vehicle onto the fragile ice. One by one, the passengers carefully tried to escape, but panic ensued when Dr. Liam, already unwell, started vomiting on the shore.
In heartbreaking scenes, Vanessa had no choice but to leave Suzy behind. Others struggled against the bitter cold, facing the danger of the ice cracking at any moment.

Who Has Lost Their Life in Emmerdale?
Suzy Merton was the first confirmed fatality from the catastrophic crash. Despite Vanessa’s desperate efforts, Dr. Liam confirmed her tragic passing.
Martelle Edinborough later confirmed her departure from the show, sharing on Twitter: “And just like that… Suzy is no more, and a new chapter begins! What an episode! It’s been an honor to be part of such an iconic show that I grew up watching and is loved by so many! #Journeys.” When asked by a fan about keeping her exit quiet, she replied, “Trust me, it was tough! I’ve known for quite a while!”
Another fatality has also been reported. Paramedics at the hospital declared someone dead on arrival, with ITVX revealing the identity in an episode set to air at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. However, to avoid spoilers, their name remains undisclosed for now.
Additionally, Amy discovered a body in the lake. While the identity remains uncertain, speculation points to Nate as the victim, based on a bracelet visible on the body that resembles one made by Frankie for their parents.
