Jason’s Alibi Falls Apart as Josslyn’s Secret Weighs on Her
Upcoming General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may soon learn that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was the one who killed Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was set up to take the fall.
At the time of Cyrus’s death, Jason was visiting Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) grave and later attempted to reconcile with Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Unfortunately, Drew rejected Jason’s offer of peace—and with no one around to confirm his whereabouts, Jason’s alibi remains weak.
Meanwhile, Josslyn had promised Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) that she wouldn’t reveal what happened. To complicate matters further, Brennan even officially invited her to join the WSB. However, Josslyn is visibly shaken by the events and may struggle to keep the truth hidden.

Jack Brennan assured Josslyn that he would cover up the murder, but his idea of protection may involve setting up Jason instead. With Jason already having a history of threatening Cyrus, it wouldn’t be difficult to paint him as the prime suspect.
Brennan’s Scheme to Frame Jason Gains Momentum
Prior to Cyrus’s death, Jason had a heated confrontation with him at Charlie’s, warning that if he ever touched Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) again, he would disappear. Since Cyrus was responsible for both Sam’s and Danny’s pain, Jason had more than enough motive for revenge.
Although Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) urged Jason not to take matters into his own hands, the police won’t care about his promise to Sam. If evidence surfaces pointing to Jason, Brennan may have successfully shifted suspicion away from Josslyn.
