Ana Navarro Sparks Feud with Kendrick Lamar Over Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show Remarks.
Ana Navarro’s Controversial Comments on Kendrick Lamar’s Performance
Ana Navarro has stirred heated discussions after expressing her thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl 2025 halftime show, suggesting that former President Donald Trump might not have appreciated its message.
Navarro’s Perspective on the Halftime Show
During The View, Navarro—who admitted she had not watched the game—speculated that Trump could have a strong reaction to the performance. “I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump signs an order banning Black performers from the halftime show,” she joked, referring to the NFL’s recent decision to remove “End Racism” from the end zone.
Navarro praised Samuel L. Jackson for his impactful introduction of Lamar, in which he appeared as a “Black Uncle Sam.” She also pointed out the significance of a full formation of Black dancers displaying an American flag.
“The Black community on my feed was saying, ‘Wow, this is unapologetically Black,’” she noted. “And of course, the usual critics were upset. But if they’re mad, I’m happy.”
