Griffin shared the news of her move on social media, posting a heartfelt message alongside a photo of herself and her husband on their apartment balcony.
“These kiddos are bound for the burbs!” she wrote. “We’re leaving the city behind for our forever home in the NYC suburbs. Thanks for the memories, Upper East Side!”
She later elaborated on the move during an episode of The View’s Behind the Table podcast, revealing that her moving day coincided with President Joe Biden’s visit to the show—making for a hectic and surreal experience.
“It was a crazy day. I had to rush to work early, interview the President of the United States, then go home and finish moving,” she recalled.
Despite her departure, Griffin expressed excitement about this new chapter, saying she is looking forward to a quieter, more balanced life.
