The panel dissected Donald Trump’s proposed $5 million visa program, which would offer individuals the ability to purchase access to the United States.
Legal analyst Sunny Hostin weighed in, dubbing the policy the “most expensive golden visa” and arguing that Trump’s administration had largely overlooked Canadian border crossings. As she elaborated on her point, Griffin interjected multiple times, challenging Hostin’s statement by insisting that “it’s actually people from other parts of the world” coming across the northern border.
Hostin attempted to continue, explaining that she had spoken directly with Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer about the issue. However, Griffin persisted in pressing her counterpoints, repeatedly talking over her co-host.
Frustrated, Hostin finally raised her hands and asked, “Can I just finish what I was saying so that I don’t lose my thought?” After yet another interruption, she firmly reiterated, “Can I finish talking?” effectively silencing Griffin for the moment.

“One of the joys of this gig is that there’s never enough time to say everything because we only have 37 minutes to cover it all—plus guests and all kinds of topics,” she remarked. Waving her arms in the air, she lightheartedly referenced the earlier argument. “People are passionate, they want to talk, and we cover more than just politics. That’s why things can get a little chaotic.”
In response, Griffin acknowledged the tension, admitting, “I know it gets heated, and I don’t mean to step on people when I do. I’m working on interrupting.”
